The Cat and The Magpie

猫咪与喜鹊

Fangce keeps a kitty called Mimi.

方策养了一只叫咪咪的小猫。

It often plays in Fangce’s little garden.

它经常在方策的小花园里玩耍。

It is summer now.

正值炎夏。

Mimi is staying in the garden.

咪咪呆在花园里。

There are some birds in the garden, too.

One of them is a magpie.

It is sitting in a tree, and singing.

Its birdsongs are so melodious.

Mimi looks up at the magpie, “Who are you, little bird?”

“I am a magpie, Mr. cat.” Answers the little bird.

“我是喜鹊，猫先生。”

“Your singing is really nice! I am very happy with your songs.”

小鸟回答。“你的歌声真好听！能听到你的歌声，我真高兴。”

Mimi and the little magpie are very happy to meet each other.

咪咪和小喜鹊很高兴见到彼此。

They become good friend soon.

他们很快成为了好朋友。
