A Stupid Cat一只蠢猫

Xiaoyu likes small animals very much.

小玉非常喜欢小动物。

She kept a cat at home.

她在家里养了一只猫。

This summer, she bought parrot and bought it a very beautiful bird cage.

今年夏天，她又买了一只鹦鹉，并且给它买了一个非常漂亮的鸟笼子。

Xiaoyu thought that the two animals would live in peace, but the cat didn't think so.

小玉以为这两只小动物会和谐相处，可是猫可不这么想。

It had wanted for a long time to get the parrot for its dinner.

它早就想把鹦鹉当晚餐了。

But the parrot lived in the cage, and the cat couldn't catch it.

但是鹦鹉住在笼子里，猫抓不到它。

The cat was helpless.

猫很无奈。

One day, when the wind was strong, the cage was blown down on the ground, and the door of the cage was open.

有一天，风很大，把笼子吹掉在地上，笼子的门被摔开了。

Seeing the opportunity, the cat swooped towards the parrot at once.

猫一看机会来了，立即扑了上去。

Unexpectedly, the parrot flew away.

没想到鹦鹉飞走了。

But the cat couldn't fly, just because it had no wings.

猫却不会飞，只为它没有翅膀。

When Xiaoyu came home from school, she saw that the parrot flew away. She knew it was the cat.

小玉放学回家后，一看鹦鹉飞走了，就知道这一定是猫干的好事。

So Xiaoyu put the cat in that cage angrily and hung it up.

于是，小玉愤怒地把猫装进了笼子，吊了起来。
